POET BILLY LAMONT RECITES AT WALL STREET "ART AND OCCUPY" PROTEST, WED. 10/5/11
The Poet's Eye video blog #6: Poet Billy Lamont recites a poem "u.s./us rights left?" at Wall Strret "Art and Occupy" Protest at around Noon, Wednesday, October, 5, 2011. This was Lamont's second time attending to show his support for the little guy, the everyday worker, the 99% and to the protesters that were making a stand against corporate greed over the past three weeks. Unfortunately the conclusion of this passionate poetry recital under twisted metal from the original World Trade Center was not captured on video due to the video camera being out of memory. Lamont recited 3 poems from his book "strobe light genertaion," and "renegade of hope" and "outlaw of love" CD's to a great and growing reception. Then Lamont recited another poem with a performance artist at another location of the protest. This is a peaceful protest and the 99% that are being represented include New York City Policemen, WTC Construction workers, Labor Unions and Firemen. Love and life to you. Live The Other Perspective!
