Billy Lamont said, "I would like to invite you to a special Memorial Prayer Church Service dedicated to the precious children and heroic teachers who lost their lives at Sandy Hook in Connecticut last Friday. This inspirational heartfelt event is for all types of people with different beliefs and from different Christian denominations. I will be reciting a new poem for this Memorial event that will be at Sounds Of Heaven Church, 30 Eastern Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729 and begins at 7PM."

Billy Lamont said, "I would like to invite you to this inspirational event for all types of people with different beliefs and from different Christian denominations to uplift Hurricane Sandy victims and workers for different community groups like the Red Cross, FEMA, Police Department, Fire Department, local and church workers. I will be reciting a new performance poem song, from my upcoming CD release Beyond Babylon, for the first time. This event will be at Sounds Of Heaven Church, Deer Park, NY and begins at 6PM."

Billy Lamont To Recite At Long Island Poet BILLY CAPOZZI MEMORIAL on Sunday, March 25th:

~Hello everyone. I would like to cordially invite you to a Memorial for the brilliant Long Island Poet and great friend the late BILLY CAPOZZI. It is this coming Sunday from 2 PM- 12 AM at Mr. Beery's in Bethpage, Long Island with many great bands (Finally Balanced, The Soilbirds) and Poets {Alan Semerdjan} performing . I have prepared a special 15 minute Memorial spoken word set for Billy Capozzi in the 5 PM hour and then will be reciting one of Billy Capozzi's wonderful poems with his powerful band Finally Balanced somewhere between 7- 9 PM. Finally Balanced in conjunction with The Mighty Underdogs, Mr. Beery's and many others who have been involved with the late Billy Capozzi over the years are putting together a memorial show to commemorate and pay tribute to Billy's life work and to help raise money for his family. Thurston Moore and Lee Ranaldo of Sonic Youth, Suzanne Vega and Steve Earle are also featured readers. This promises to be an awesome event for a great cause!
