It is like modern folk music combined with traditional greek music. Steven Delopoulos is a remarkable songwriter with a great sense of melody and a unique voice. I love his solo CD "Me Died Blue." Also his guitar playing along with his cousin's Johnny Phillippidis is outstanding and brings the house down at live performances every time."

I knew him just as he was starting out and experimenting with films and Scott would videotape some of my first perfromances of "the gallery of light" in 1997/1998. His talent was evident then and all the hard work is becoming fruitfull now. Keep an eye out for this guy's films," Billy Lamont comments.

"Steven J. Messina is an amazing poet and photographer. Steve was one of the first professional photographers to photograph me and a few of his photo's are in my first above ground book "The Gallery Of Light." Some of them can be viewed at Flickr.com. I invited Steve to recite his poetry for an audience for the first time, I think in 1994, at one of my performances where he received great press. Later I encouraged him to start a band with his many talented friends. I didn't realize until the other night when Steve mentioned from the stage at CBGB's as he was blowing everyone away with a showstopping performance that I was the catalyst for him forming his long lived band The Serial Poets. No great feat really.... I just see great potential in him then and now. Viva The Serial Poets....kick ass, non pop, pure punk rock!"
